Typography and Fonts
The GeneratePress premium theme offers excellent control over the fonts you use on the site. The site uses Google Fonts, which are free, web-based fonts. If you ever need these on your local machine for any reason, you can download them here.
Note: in some cases you will see that the setting is “default.” This is because we felt that the default settings for the font did not need to be changed. Remember, you can always make changes on a case-by-case basis using the settings tools in the Block mode editor.
The MSHS site design uses two fonts:
Lato — is a sans serif font used for most text and content.
Merriweather — is a serif font used for most headlines
Note: We strongly recommend that these settings remain as they are, unless it’s a universal design change approved by whomever is in charge of the website design. Any change here will affect every place this font setting is used on the site.
