Working with Fluent Forms
WP Fluent Forms is the plugin we use to create simple, responsive online forms. It’s easy it is to make online forms using WP Fluid Form.
Note: The MSHS license for the Fluent Forms plugin is for use on one site—so, naturally, it’s installed on the main site (i.e. not here). However, we created a practice form on the main site that you can safely play around with it there.
It is more likely that you will need to edit an existing form than create a new one, so we have focused on that.
From the Fluent Forms menu on the dashboard, go to “All Forms.” dashboard. As of now there are 11 forms on the site plus one practice form (based on the contact form).

As with pages, etc, hovering over a form brings a pop-up with options. Choose the Practice form and choose edit.
You will see all the fields currently on the form, plus 30 more possible input fields on the right side of the page in three categories: general, advanced, and content.
With admin approval, these can be deployed and customized as desired.
- A form is made up of different input fields that need to be calibrated.
- Users can add fields to the form in four ways.
- The easiest is to single click on the field you want to import from the input fields menu.
- You can also drag-and-drop fields to add them to the form
- Add an input field by clicking on the form builder point using the plus icon on an existing field.
- The fourth method is to search and add your desired field from the search field on the input fields menu.
- It’s important to save the form after creating it
- To publish a form on the web, you need to create a page for the form in the Pages area,
- Copy the shortcode from the code field and paste it into a Shortcode block on the page.
Don’t forget to preview the form by clicking on the “Save” button from the top right corner of the page.
If you edit an existing form that is already published, it will automatically update when you hit the Save button.
When a form is submitted, the program will send an email to the Society officer delegated to handle it. It will also copy the site Admin. Who gets an email is controlled form by form in the Settings & Integrations area.
To view a list of all submitted forms, go to the entries area from the Admin toolbar.
Donations can be made directly to the Society Paypal account through a form. To see a list of payments, go to the Payment area from the Admin toolbar.
